Get a few Carbon Monoxide Plug-In Alarms
Keeping a carbon monoxide detector in the key rooms - like bedrooms and the kitchen will help prevent leaks go undetected. All you do is plug it in and forget about it. It couldn't be easier. Make sure to also have some batters on hand incase the power goes out, that way your alarms will keep working.
Install a Smoke Detector
Make sure that you have working smoke detectors in your home, especially in the kitchen and bedrooms. Also make sure that the batteries are working in them even if they are used as a backup.
Cover unused outlets
Babies get into all kinds of stuff. And making sure that they don't accidentally sick something in an outlet is something that you really want to prevent. With these outlet covers, they are similar to regular outlet covers, so they don't look silly on your wall.
